So You reminded us today that it has been exactly two months since the anniversary

I feel bad, I don't want to take that for granted,
maybe I'm trying to stop the progression,
because it's happening too fast,

you had your first day of school at

It's an awesome time
I remember how powerful that is, how intense
how you can open your eyes in the morning and feel like
nothing can get in your way
you wake up with amazing energy the world is on your side
and every single sense that you have is unbielivably alive
sense memory,
you remember viscraly what she smells like when you say hello
and good bye
sight
you say hello and that smile is etched in your mind
and good bye
that moment
a peck of a kiss but it means something
sound
funny in today's world that is the sound of your phone vibrating
with a text message
with words we parents can't possibly imagine the urgency of
yet none the less
important.
I can't imagine what it is like to be in love in today's world
What is left unsaid?
What do you do if you don't want to talk?
What happens when everyone knows what happens because of Facebook?
What does it feel like when your old love posts a picture with the new love?
I remember the hurts of love that doesn't work out
And I really feel for you because in today's world it's so
AMPLIFIED.
OUCH
makes me want to shield you from that
but I can't
so I just hope that the love we have poured into your heart will sustain you
and if you feel depleted you can always come to us to be refilled
